Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Open Sky Healing Counseling, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of couples and families, understanding their unique dynamics and challenges.
\n
• Providing therapeutic services to couples in joint sessions while also attending to individual needs during one-on-one sessions.
\n
• Specializing in a range of issues, including but not limited to: \n

  • Alcohol abuse
  \n
  • Physical or psychological trauma
  \n
  • Grief and loss
  \n
  • Family conflicts and communication difficulties
  \n
  • Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce
  \n
  • Supporting blended families and navigating complex relationships

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of each client, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Documenting treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on families, couples, and individuals of various ages, ranging from children to adolescents, as well as adults dealing with a variety of mental health challenges. Your commitment to understanding and addressing their unique needs will enhance the therapeutic relationship and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Family Psychology, or a related field.
