Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Virginia Psychologist License required
• Experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
• Expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention for children and adolescents
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with teachers, parents, and school teams
• Able to work fully onsite throughout the assignment
• Commitment to professional ethics and maintaining confidentiality

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
• Deliver direct counseling services to students, both individually and in groups
• Consult with teachers and administrators to develop effective interventions and strategies for student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in creating student-specific support plans
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to ongoing program improvement
