Your role will focus on providing compassionate mental health support to individuals in our detox center. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while you engage with clients from the comfort and safety of their own environments. Although your primary working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, occasional evening or weekend hours may be necessary to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health status and treatment needs, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.

• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to clients struggling with severe emotional disorders and substance use issues.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals within the detox center to create and implement treatment plans that align with best practices in mental health care.

• Utilize a strengths-based approach to empower clients, focusing on informed choice and promoting personal agency in their recovery journey.

• Maintain detailed documentation and case notes in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld.

• Participate regularly in team meetings and case reviews, providing insights and receiving feedback to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will be individuals experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, often in conjunction with substance use issues. This population often faces complex challenges that require patience, empathy, and skilled intervention. As you work with these clients, you will facilitate their journey towards recovery, using techniques that are both therapeutic and supportive.

Qualifications\n

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Illinois is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is mandatory.

• Proven expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and crisis intervention techniques specifically tailored to mental health and substance use disorders.

• Superb communication skills to foster effective relationships with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
