Location While this role is open to remote candidates across the United States, team members located within 40 miles of our Scottsdale headquarters (9451 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256) are expected to work onsite four days per week to support collaboration, speed, and execution. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity. Solutions Consultant The Solutions Consultant will focus on the technical sales of Nextiva’s solutions. This role serves as a key technical resource, requiring a deep understanding of Nextiva’s product offerings and their applications. The consultant will act as the technical lead throughout the sales process and will coordinate additional sales resources, including Product Subject Matter Experts, Account Management, Project Management, and Professional Services. Responsibilities Lead business and technical discovery to uncover customer requirements, pain points, and success criteria Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations Foster relationship with third-party vendors and partners to enhance solution offerings Own proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, including scoping and success criteria Respond to RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires Partner with Account Executive on account strategy and deal planning Act as the technical voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering Handle basic objection handling on architecture, security, and integrations Stay up to date on new technologies, industry trends, security & compliance, business needs Cross-Functional Collaboration Must be a compelling, passionate, and enthusiastic speaker Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer feedback, competitor, and partner insights Help standardize demo best practices, documentation, and reusable assets Contribute to internal enablement by training sales teams on how to position and leverage demos effectively Work closely with the Services Delivery team to communicate and coordinate customer requirements and roadmaps Fluent in English Requirements 3–6 years in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role Preferred understanding of knowledge in technical areas such as (UCaaS, CCaaS, CRM, SIP, VOIP, AI, APIs, Automation Services) and common integration patterns (Workato, Redox..) Ability to present confidently to technical and business stakeholders Familiarity with Nextiva's competitive landscape (e.g., RingCentral, Five9, Genesys, Zoom) Fundamental knowledge of Python, JSON, HTML CSS, and JavaScript Use AI to enhance personal workflows, leverages multiple AI tools based on their strengths, identifies repetitive tasks for automation, and shares best practices to drive team growth Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, develop new processes, and adapt to new technology Bonus would be knowledge in areas such as Data Security & Privacy (HIPAA, PCI, GDPR) Bonus knowledge in Spanish or French Bonus knowledge in Lucidchart, Google Dialogflow, Teams, WhatsApp, Google G-Suite Travel: up to 20% Core Competencies Right Attitude Driving Results Critical Thinker Nextiva DNA (Core Competencies) Drives Results: Action-oriented problem solvers who quickly bring clarity and simplicity to ambiguity, challenge the status quo, and lead meaningful change; celebrating wins to fuel momentum.
