Your future role at a glance Location: Oshkosh, WI Facility: Mercy Hospital Department/Specialty: Acute Rehab Schedule: Full-Time, Nights How you'll make an impact in this role Support the recovery journey by assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring they maintain dignity and comfort during their stay. Champion patient safety and ease of transition by guiding individuals safely through admissions, transfers, and discharges. Monitor and communicate vital changes in a patient’s physical or emotional well-being to the nursing team, serving as an essential 'set of eyes' for the clinical staff. Cultivate a healing environment by maintaining clean, organized patient spaces and ensuring all medical equipment is ready for immediate use. Capture the patient care story through accurate documentation, ensuring every detail of their progress is reflected in their high-quality health record. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
