Flight Paramedic

Role A Flight Paramedic is responsible for providing advanced pre-hospital and intra-hospital life support care during air transportation of patients. They ensure patient safety, accurately document care, and maintain equipment and supplies. The role involves participating in pre-mission briefings, assisting with aircraft safety, performing base checks, and supporting crew members, including pilot assistance. Maintaining certifications, licensure, and ongoing training is essential. Maintaining certifications, licensure, and ongoing training is essential. Responsibilities Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly Perform daily safety and equipment checks, including narcotic counts Deliver comprehensive patient care from initial contact to transfer to medical facilities Maintain competency through ongoing training and certifications Ensure adherence to safety standards for crew, patients, and equipment Assist with pre-mission briefings, debriefings, and aircraft safety procedures Fill shifts as needed, collaborating with team members and leadership Qualifications & Skills Minimum of three years’ experience in 911 or critical care settings Current EMT-P license in the assigned area Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C) within 24 months of hire Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred Knowledge of aircraft equipment and safety protocols #J-18808-Ljbffr Health Here
