Job Description Job Description Job Title: Accounts Payable Administrator Worcester MA 01615 Duration: PERM Shift: M-F 8am-4:30pm · Reports To: Accounting Manager · Fully onsite M-F · All candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship JOB SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices for payment. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: · The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required: · Voucher and process 3-way match invoices. · Code and Voucher Non-PO invoices from vendors. · Assist in weekly check runs. · Assist in weekly wire payment processing. · Process credit memos received from vendors. · Maintain vendor prepayment detail. · Resolve issues with vendors. · Review expense reimbursement requests for allowable and unallowable costs for proper recordation. · Other duties as required. LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY: · Employee works under general supervision. · Employee makes decisions within clearly prescribed areas referring matters that fall outside that area to others. · Employee recommends actions and alternatives to supervisor and others. · Supervisory responsibilities: none REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records. · Must be reliable and trustworthy. · Position requires basic data input into company software systems such as email, ERP system, or other internal databases. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or relevant experience. · 5-7 years of experience. · Basic, introductory on-the-job training required. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands/Efforts · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer. · Little or no physical exertion. Mental & Visual Demands · Work requires considerable mental concentration to effectively execute complex tasks. · Visual acuity to work with programs on the computer. · Work requires frequent visual effort for extended periods of time. Work Environment and Hazards · Some areas in the building are not climate controlled. · Working environment
