Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Bright View, you will take on various responsibilities that directly contribute to the treatment and recovery of your clients. Your daily tasks will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead focused and engaging group sessions where clients can share experiences, communicate challenges, and receive support from their peers.

• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide empathetic, personalized counseling tailored to each client's unique needs, helping them explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that set realistic, measurable goals aligning with their aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess clients’ progress through various tools and feedback mechanisms, ensuring that treatment plans remain relevant and effective.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Engage with other members of our multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and discuss complex cases, ensuring holistic support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on the outpatient treatment of young adults aged 18 to 30 attending our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Our treatment options are evidence-based, covering a wide range of mental health issues. You will work with individuals facing stress, anxiety, depression, and other challenges, helping them to overcome their obstacles and build a brighter future.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited program.

• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Demonstrated commitment to patient advocacy and mental health awareness.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient settings, particularly with young adult populations.

• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
