Molina Healthcare & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in Tullahoma, Tennessee. This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring high-quality care for our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Providing brief, focused therapeutic interventions and counseling sessions to patients facing mental health challenges.
\n
• Collaborating closely with primary care providers to identify, treat, and manage psychosocial issues, ensuring integrated care.
\n
• Initiating follow-up consultations to monitor patients’ progress, assess treatment effectiveness, and adjust plans as necessary.
\n
• Developing relapse prevention plans and employing strategies to help patients maintain stable functioning across various life domains.
\n
• Documenting patient progress and diagnostic data meticulously in treatment charts, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Actively participating in team meetings to share insights and develop collectively focused behavioral health programs.
\n
• Promoting self-management skills among patients, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.
\n
• Providing consultative support to clinic management and other team members regarding behavioral health services and improvement strategies.

• Adhering to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals and fulfilling additional duties as assigned.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals from various backgrounds and age groups experiencing a range of mental health issues. This role is particularly focused on fostering relationships with clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and other psychosocial challenges. By understanding their unique experiences, the counselor will make informed recommendations for further care, whether within the primary care setting or through specialized mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is mandated.

• Current and unrestricted LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license is required.
\n
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Familiarity with DSM-IV diagnoses, developmental psychopathology, family systems therapy, and child psychotherapy methodologies.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and team members.

• Thorough understanding of community resources and organizational structures related to mental health services.
\n
• Ability to maintain and manage clinical records, adhering to confidentiality regulations.
\n
• Strong analytical skills to assess individual patient needs and develop appropriate interventions.

• A willingness to work collaboratively in a diverse, interdisciplinary team environment.

• Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands often encountered in this role.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with bilingual communication, particularly in English and Spanish, is a plus but not mandatory.

• Prior experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines are advantageous.

• Knowledge of various psychotherapeutic techniques and the ability to tailor approaches to individual patient circumstances.

• Experience engaging with health technology platforms for telehealth services and documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 87,000 to USD 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
