Accounts Receivable Administrator

They should embody Jenkins Restorations’ core values, including, Can-do Attitude, Excellent Execution, Do the Right Thing, Actions of a Servant, and Responsible Stewardship (C.E.D.A.R).JOB RESPONSIBILITIES for the Accounts Receivable Administrator:Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivableDrafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request paymentCreate reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requestedResearch into customer discrepancies and past-due amountsCollaborate with the FP&A team to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic (at least semi-monthly) basisAssists Accounting Manager in reconciling revenue accounts each monthAssist Check Processing with Docusign and notes related to the physical checksCopies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as neededMaintain and update customer information, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentionsRelays changes of information to appropriate employeesAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Education: Associate, bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree with a record of strong academic achievement.Experience: At least two years of related experience. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of relevant Accounts Receivable experience in fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copierAbility to work independently and in a fast-paced environmentSage Intacct experience a plusLANGUAGE SKILLS:The Accounts Receivable Administrator must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization in the English language.TECHNICAL SKILLS:To perform this job successfully, the Accounts Receivable Administrator should have knowledge of industry related software be able to “touch type” and be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.); able to communicate via cell phone and appropriate apps.REASONING ABILITY:The Accounts Receivable Administrator should possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They should also have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in the English language.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
