NC FAST Salesforce Developer

Job Summary: NC FAST Salesforce Developer
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Child Welfare solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (business analysts, product managers, end-users) to gather and refine business requirements.
- Customize and configure Salesforce (objects, fields, workflows) to meet specific business needs.
- Develop and maintain Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and system integrations.
- Integrate Salesforce with other technology platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Conduct system testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and deployment of Salesforce applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and configuration details.
- Track and manage development activities and workflows using Jira Scrum/Kanban boards.
- Perform impact analysis of requirements on current and proposed systems.
- Review user requests, design appropriate systems, and prepare project plans and required documentation.
- Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, coding standards, security policies, and privacy regulations.
- Participate in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, technical committees, and governance meetings.
- Mentor team members, enforce peer review and quality standards, and assure adherence to approved methodologies.
- Proactively monitor and support production applications for efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices; recommend enhancements as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of Lightning component development
- 7+ years of Apex code and Apex test development/maintenance
- 3+ years of Visualforce page development/maintenance
- 7+ years of Salesforce 3rd party app integrations
- 3+ years of data migration from legacy systems
- Highly desired: Copado and Copado Robotics Testing experience (1+ year)
- Highly desired: Experience issuing tickets to Salesforce (1+ year)
