Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the severity and recurrence of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to unique client needs and preferences, ensuring goals are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely).

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address client-specific challenges.

• Engage educationally with clients and their families, providing resources and strategies for understanding mood disorders and optimizing treatment outcomes.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans and strategies as necessary to enhance efficacy.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to integrate innovative practices into client care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations, team strategy meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on helping individuals coping with various mood disorders, including but not limited to chronic depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Many clients may also be navigating significant life challenges such as domestic violence, displacement, or discrimination. Qualifications\n

• An active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
