Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry
NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A, with 36 and 48 hours available per week. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg Telemetry Unit, providing high-quality care to patients in a 37-bed complex care environment. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to float to other units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients and respond to their needs.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Take charge of the unit when needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
- Active New York RN license.
- AHA BLS certification.
