EY-Parthenon - Strategy and Execution - Deal Management - Manager - Multiple Positions Location: Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, San Francisco, CA. Role Overview Serve as a Strategy & Operations professional to prepare and execute mergers and acquisitions plans to maximize synergies and financial benefits from transactions. Apply knowledge of the organizations involved to drive operational value. Provide operationally focused support and advice across the transaction life cycle – including carve‑out, due diligence, and integration – whether supporting an acquirer or seller. Focus on enhancing value, accelerating implementation, and managing operational transaction risk. Responsibilities Support and advise on operational aspects: carve‑out readiness, operational due diligence, synergy assessment and delivery, day‑one readiness assessment, 100‑day planning, and integration process. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills. Deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Maintain long‑term client relationships and cultivate business development opportunities. Support business development, including developing C‑suite level proposal materials. Manage engagements and related budgets, applying them to business development and pricing efforts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, Sciences, Economics, Law or related field and 5 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate work experience; OR Master’s degree and 3 years of work experience. 3+ years of experience assessing technology, finance, operations, manufacturing or supply chain infrastructure. 2+ years of experience in business integrations, divestitures or carve‑outs, including quantitative and qualitative analysis. 2+ years of experience managing cross‑functional workstreams for integration or separation of client operations. 2+ years of experience in a consulting or professional services firm in mergers and acquisitions. 2+ years of experience synthesizing approaches for complex integration or divestiture conflicts. 2+ years of project management experience, including coaching professional employees. 2+ years of experience developing client leadership level materials for integration or separation of client operations. 1+ year of experience supporting business development and proposal development. 1+ year of experience in engagement management and budgeting. Domestic and international travel up to 80% required. Benefits Competitive base salary ($185,005.00 per year).
