Customer Experience Associate Location: 935 McKim Street ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Smiles and greets customers. Answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly, politely, and professionally. Follows company policies relating to customer checkout to increase satisfaction. Operates front‑end scanning equipment and cash register. Performs all related checkout procedures, including bagging merchandise and placing merchandise in the customer’s cart. Maintains accuracy during the transaction, ensuring the customer is charged for all items and appropriate funds are collected (cash, checks, electronic payment, coupons). Maintains proper security measures and cash‑drawer accounting procedures, avoiding overages and shortages. Follows all store and legal guidelines regarding the sale of tobacco and alcohol. Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions. Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and guidelines to keep work areas, equipment, counters, and display cases clean and meeting health and OSHA requirements. Disposes of trash properly. Ensures smooth function of the department and store by cooperating with co‑workers and supervisors. Continuously improves job performance. Utilizes all company‑provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as cut‑resistant gloves, safety cutters, and company‑sponsored footwear. May be called upon to assist in other departments. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education and/or experience completed or working toward a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). No prior experience required. RATE OF PAY AND BENEFITS Hourly pay starts at $15.00 and can increase up to $20.00. Benefits include: MEC plan with 100% in‑network coverage for all preventive care services required by the ACA.
