Associate Payroll Specialist We are seeking an Associate Payroll Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Receive payroll information from assigned clients and/or Payroll Specialists and input new hire, changes, and termination information. Resolve high‑volume requests by taking ownership and coordinating with internal departments as necessary. Maintain the integrity of the client and employee database and ensure all compliance requirements are met. Essential Functions Maintain excellent customer service standards to ensure customer satisfaction. Work as a team member to maintain the highest level of customer service quality and productivity. Service clients and internal partners by receiving employee paperwork, including new hires, employee changes and terminations. Uphold the integrity of the client and employee database and ensure all compliances are met. Receive payroll information from clients or Payroll Specialists, process payroll information and produce client specific payroll checks, invoices and standard payroll reports. Ensure accuracy of payroll input, balancing input to payroll worksheet and payroll reports to clients. Provide backup documentation to Finance department, if needed, for wires. Maintain accurate delivery instructions for each payroll in the system. Attend weekly department training meetings and review procedure manual on an ongoing basis. Establish clear communications with client, employees and team members. Consult with Supervisor and Payroll Trainer when responding to new or different questions from clients and employees. Skillset Areas The role may involve exposure to one or more of the following areas: Shared Services – assisting with data analytics, trends, and load balancing; maintaining a daily report of completed tasks. Payroll – coordinating with the Finance department and ensuring funds are received; building and maintaining client load. Client Implementation – developing knowledge of complex processes and ensuring client funds are received. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
