About This Role The RN HOPS - Neuro Expansion position involves providing professional nursing care to hospitalized patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in critical thinking and patient care coordination. Highlights Pay : $35.50 - $55.60/hour Location : Cleveland, OH Facility : Cleveland Clinic Department/Unit : Main Campus Schedule : Full-time, Day shift What You’ll Do Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services. Assess patients; complete nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings. Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Coordinate ongoing care; identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning. Provide telephone triage and call rotations as needed. Perform nursing procedures and treatments as directed by physicians or LIPs. Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care consistent with CCHS policies and procedures. Assist with specialized patient care equipment as required. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians or LIPs. Direct, coordinate, and participate in the evaluation and supervision of nursing care provided to patients. Requirements Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred. Experience: Minimum of one year recent RN experience required; two years preferred. For Cardiac Catheterization or related areas, one year of critical care experience preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months if performing moderate sedation procedures. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required upon hire or within one year if in the Emergency Department. Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) certification preferred within three years if operating with PICC Lines.
