A well-established restaurant organization is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant and bar in Clifton, NJ.

What You'll Do

• Lead all day-to-day restaurant and bar operations
• Coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing management team
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience that drives repeat business
• Manage P&L performance, including sales, labor, food and beverage costs, and profitability
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain top hospitality talent
• Oversee scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and operational controls
• Maintain strong food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
• Support private events, promotions, entertainment, and community engagement
• Foster a positive, accountable, guest-first culture

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
• Experience managing $5M+ in annual sales
• Strong bar and beverage operations experience
• Proven success developing managers and building strong teams
• Solid understanding of restaurant P&Ls and financial controls
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Preferred Experience


Experience in high-volume full-service, upscale casual, sports bar, tavern, or entertainment-driven restaurant concepts is preferred. Experience with private events, banquet business, or entertainment is highly desirable. Strong beer, wine, and spirits knowledge is a plus.
