As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, lobbies, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
