Officers monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with property procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
