As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Culver City, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
• Support a professional environment at a technology-focused location by providing directions, answering routine questions, and assisting with security-related requests from authorized personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
