Location: New York, NY OR Chicago, IL Salary: $250,000 – $275,000 + BonusGeneral Responsibilities* Support and lead transaction execution across a range of Consumer M&A and financing transactions

• Source new business opportunities and potentially bring in new client relationships and transactions
• Drive origination activities, including pitches, presentations, marketing materials and industry analysis
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with senior executives, private equity sponsors and other industry stakeholders
• Work closely with Senior Consumer MDs and Directors on strategic client initiatives
• Advise on both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
• Support capital raising and other strategic financing initiatives
• Lead and manage the due diligence process throughout transactions
• Provide guidance, oversight and mentorship to junior Bankers, including Associates and Analysts
• Analyze market data, industry trends and transaction activity to identify opportunities and provide relevant market intelligence

• Consumer Internet & Digital PlatformsGeneral Requirements* BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field, MBA is a plus
• 6–8 years of relevant experience, ideally within Investment Banking or a combination of Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory
• Strong M&A experience across both buy-side and sell-side transactions is required
• Prior Consumer Investment Banking experience at the VP level
• Demonstrated ability to independently run an M&A process from pitch through closing, QB of deals
• Proven experience leading and managing small deal teams of approximately 4–6 junior professionals
• Mid-market Investment Banking experience is strongly preferred; candidates from leading Elite Boutiques will also be considered
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, presentation and transaction execution skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact directly with senior clients
• Genuine enthusiasm for the Consumer sector and a desire to develop as a market specialist
• Candidates with specialized expertise in Consumer Tech, Retail, Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, E-Commerce, Restaurants, Beauty & Personal Care, or other Consumer verticals are particularly encouraged to apply
