Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Focus Counseling Support Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting diagnostic evaluations using the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) under professional guidance.

• Providing evidence-based short-term psychotherapy and counseling for individuals, families, and groups addressing a range of mental health and dual diagnosis concerns.

• Offering services such as crisis intervention, supportive therapy, skills training, educational counseling, and family dynamics reduction.
\n
• Working collaboratively with our clinical team, including licensed psychologists and psychiatrist, to develop and implement client treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans using electronic health records systems to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines.

• Participating in staff consultations, quality assurance discussions, and performance evaluations to continually enhance service delivery.

• Actively utilizing intervention methodologies that reflect best practices in the provision of behavioral health services.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.
