Senior Corporate Accountant

Kforce is working with a growing private company to identify a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their accounting team in Phoenix, AZ. Summary: This role will play a key part in supporting the month-end close, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations as the business continues to scale. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, digging into the details, and partnering cross-functionally. The Senior Corporate Accountant will be a hands-on contributor with visibility into leadership and the chance to grow with the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly journal entries, account reconciliations, and close schedules
• Support the month-end and quarter-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financials
• Assist with internal financial reporting, flux analysis, and variance explanations
• Partner with FP&A, Operations, and other internal teams to support reporting needs and business initiatives
• Support external audit requests and help maintain strong accounting documentation
• Assist with technical accounting research and policy application as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency as the company grows

• 4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally a mix of public accounting and private industry
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience working in a growing or changing environment where adaptability is important
• Solid Excel skills and comfort working with ERP systems
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred, but not required
