Office Administrator

$28 - $32 per hour

Sandvik Mining & Rock, the leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry, currently has 1 opening for an Office Administrator on our 1st shift starting at 7:30AM - 8:00AM.The Office Administrator will be responsible for performing administrative services which may include office clerical, support services and customer service. First point of contact for visitors to the facility. This role will also support daily office operations and administrative needs, including scheduling of meetings, leading company events/activities, invoice and vendor management.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESAdheres to all Sandvik policies, SOPs, safety, and environmental practicesManage all day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficient administrative processes and a professional work environmentServe as the primary point of contact for visitors following company policyCoordinate scheduling of meetings, site visits, contractors, service calls, company activitiesManage building badge access systemOrder office supplies to ensure proper inventoryReceive and distribute mailManage invoice review and processing including vendor setupCollaborates with cross functional stakeholders to manage projectsCreate, edit and maintain business communications, presentation, reports and meeting documentationHandle various arrangements, supplies, and support for meetings, training classes and other functionsRoom preparation and post-event cleanup for meetings and eventsOther duties as assignedEXPERIENCE:2+ years’ experience in office / inventory managementEDUCATION, LICENCES & CERTIFICATESHigh school degreeOTHER:Bilingual: English/SpanishProficiency in MS Tools: Power Point, Excel, WordExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlinesStrong analytical capabilities.KEY STAKEHOLDERS:Senior Leadership, managers, employees, visitors, and contractorsCOMPETENCIES:TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONALExperience working with cross cultural workgroupsExperience in management changeOrganizational skillsProcess ManagementProblem SolvingBi-lingual communication skills are highly desirableOTHER:SYSTEM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCEProficient in Microsoft office: Excel Power Point, WordBenefitsSandvik offers a comprehensive total compensation package including a competitive package of health, dental and disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
