Job Opportunity – Hematologist Oncologist – Iowa

Start Date: September 2025 (Multiple coverage blocks available)

Location: Iowa (Greater Des Moines area)

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4 days per week; Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday blocks; Clinic hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Night call Monday-Friday (following clinic days) and 24-hour weekend call as scheduled; 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient coverage

Highlights:

• Outpatient-focused practice with 10-30 patient daily volume and 20-minute appointment slots
• Comprehensive oncology services including chemotherapy management, treatment planning, and pain management
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dedicated support staff: 1 RN or CMA and ancillary staff per provider with 2 exam rooms
• Coverage blocks available: September 22-30, October 21-29, November 16-20, with additional 2027 dates
• Flexible scheduling with both outpatient and limited inpatient responsibilities across two medical centers

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology (preferred) or Board Certified in Oncology with Hematology/Oncology experience
• Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology required
• Active Iowa medical license or Active IMLC
• Experienced provider with clean malpractice and background history
• Willingness to provide coverage at multiple facilities within the region
• Self-Query NPDB Report required at time of application
