Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients and their families.
\n
• Providing culturally informed therapy sessions, both in-person and via telehealth, to address issues such as relationship dynamics, trauma, grief, and anxiety.
\n
• Utilizing proven therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), in accordance with patient needs.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any relevant updates through our Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.
\n
• Collaborating with fellow therapists and mental health professionals to share insights and develop comprehensive care strategies that enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and new therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied patient population, including individual clients and families, primarily focusing on children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Given the culturally diverse community surrounding Avondale, Arizona, you will need to approach each client with sensitivity to their distinct cultural backgrounds and individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in Arizona.
\n
• Strong bilingual (Spanish and English) communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective delivery of services to a broader range of clients.
\n
• At least two years of experience working in a mental health setting, demonstrating your ability to handle complex family dynamics and varied behavioral health issues.
\n
• A respectful, culturally competent approach to therapy, with a willingness to understand and accommodate individual client needs and customs.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR software and Microsoft Office applications.
\n
• A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.
\n
• The ability to maintain consistent attendance and reliability, including availability for at least two evening shifts per week and one weekend day.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
