Tax and Accounting Manager

Job Description Come grow with us! We are looking for a full-time tax and accounting manager with a projected start date of October 28, 2024, but would definitely consider a start date much sooner. You have the opportunity to join a small, but growing, CPA firm in Jacksonville, FL and learn in a relaxed and professional environment. Requirements: Individual and business tax experience, 4 years plus Quickbooks accounting experience, 3 years plus CPA or Enrolled Agent License Desire to research and understand tax law and latest tax acts Ability to find solutions for clients and supervisors Strong knowledge of Excel and Word and ability to use latest technology to improve efficiencies. Detail oriented, self-starter Personable Demonstrate longevity at prior tax/accounting jobs Additional Considerations for Higher Compensation Experience with 1099 filing Requirements 2 plus years Experience in Sales Tax Filings/Research 2 plus years Experience in Florida Tangible Property Tax 2 plus years Experience working with UltraTax Responsibilities: Preparation and supervision of business and individual tax returns, tax planning and strategizing Monthly accounting and supervision of Quickbooks Online and Accounting Power Various other tax and accounting jobs.
