Accounting Manager

Leeds Professional Resources is working with a client in Bonita Springs that is looking for an Accounting Manager. This is a hybrid role (3 days in office) M-F 8:30am - 5pm. Reviews Accounting clerks’ work for accuracy and timeliness. Oversees Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks. Perform general ledger and journal entries. Reconcile premium payments via credit card and electronic check daily. Assists in developing new procedures to streamline accounting processes. Provides leadership for the department while overseeing and performing specified daily activities including maintaining all accounting files, A/R, A/P review reconciling vendor statements, review banking for accuracy and other general accounting duties. Prepare monthly premium and loss reporting and monthly investment activity. Prepare monthly reinsurance reports for company and reinsurers. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
