Analyst

SkyWorks Capital , a firm providing advisory, investment banking, asset management, and consulting expertise to aviation-related industries, is interviewing candidates for Analyst positions for the Company’s Greenwich, CT headquarters. Analysts are responsible for financial analysis/modeling and general research in support of transaction execution as well as business development. Analysts will be exposed to and work with senior professionals in all of SkyWorks’ business areas. Interest in aviation is a plus. Analyst Responsibilities Conduct research on industry issues to assist senior bankers and consultants on a variety of projects. Develop and maintain financial models, including asset-based financing evaluations, aircraft investment evaluations, company valuations, and other ad hoc financial analyses. Assist generally with marketing (including pitch book development) and deal execution. Support preparation of industry studies and other related consulting reports. Provide general assistance to aircraft asset management group. Assist with the preparation of offering and information memoranda in support of capital raising mandates for our clients. Requirements Strong understanding of financial accounting and corporate finance through academic coursework, and ideally through internship experience. Familiarity with financial modeling principles, with the ability to quickly and accurately consolidate and analyze large quantities of data. Analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work-load and maintain a high level of attention to detail. Strong desire to learn and research aviation industry topics and methodology. High degree of self-motivation and ability to complete tasks with limited oversight or, at times, independently. High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
