This position provides the expertise in running the process as defined, following production schedules in order to deliver product to our customers and meeting our goals of safety, right first time, on time delivery at or under budget. This position will require cross-training and knowledge of the entire process to produce conforming final product.ResponsibilitiesContinually monitor safety and required PPEEnsure processes are being followed and are staying in control and capableWork to the required schedule to ensure that parts are produced safely, with high quality, on time and under budgetEngage with associates and consultants to build understanding of the entire processKey AccountabilitiesSafety/Operations: Follow all work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure safe operation of all equipment. Work to the schedule to ensure that parts are safely produced, with high quality, on time and under budget.Cost Reduction: Work with process engineers and the Injection Molding Supervisor to define, test and implement new production improvements.Quality: Ensure that defined processes are followed to produce parts with the best quality. Engage with supervisor, lead associates and process engineers if the process variation impedes the ability to produce quality parts.Personnel: Daily interface with other department personnel to facilitate communication within the manufacturing facility. Professional work ethic to ensure proper procedures are followed to produce quality product.
