Job Description Job Responsibilities: The Scheduler is responsible for managing daily appointments, coordinating route and delivery schedules, adjusting timelines as needed, and ensuring all services are completed efficiently and on time. Job Duties:
• Communicate with customers to provide accurate updates, including driver ETAs, delivery status, and scheduling confirmations
• Schedule and coordinate daily appointments, deliveries, pickups, and service requests
• Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure overall satisfaction
• Process and schedule incoming purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Coordinate and manage daily scheduling to support efficient operations and maximize productivity
• Monitor schedules throughout the day and make real-time adjustments based on customer needs, traffic, delays, or operational changes
• Maintain clear and professional communication with drivers, warehouse personnel, and office staff as needed
• Cross-train with dispatch to provide coverage and support operational gaps when necessary
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, orders, scheduling updates, and completed services
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
• Verify job completion details and update scheduling systems accordingly
• Assist with route planning and workload distribution to improve efficiency
• Track and prioritize urgent or time-sensitive requests
• Ensure all scheduling information is entered accurately into company systems
• Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and responding to customer inquiries
• Operating a forklift as needed
• Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service(required), scheduling, logistics or dispatch preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Basic computer skills and experience with scheduling or order management systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team *This is a drug-free workplace.
