Director of Finance - Miramar

Finance Director To be considered for the Finance Director opening, please bring: Certified Public Accountant with 5+ years of experience in a large multinational company Experience in manufacturing and/or engineering finance (preferred) Strong system capability and excellent Excel skills Ability to write succinctly and produce presentations Experience managing and developing a team Organizes and prioritizes to achieve results Continuous improvement mindset Effective leadership with people management abilities Confidence in a fast‑moving and changing environment with the skill to prioritize and delegate tasks Self‑confident, proficient, and competent, can work well under pressure Ability to consider wider business implications when making decisions Flexibility to respond positively to changing situations/priorities Effective communication at all levels, both written and verbally Ability to work effectively with others throughout the company As a Finance Director, you will Ensure financial controls and processes meet statutory, legal and Group requirements. Lead external and internal audits and ensure audit requirements are met. Be responsible for weekly/monthly and quarterly reporting requirements for ONTIC and CVC. Complete month‑end review of detailed financials including variance analysis and brief the management team of the status. Handle routine financial reporting and functions (journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L statement, cash flows, month‑end management accounts, cash flow forecasting). Oversee credit management/control. Support purchase accounting process for new acquisitions and/or licenses in accordance with Ontic and Group policies (US GAAP). Ensure group insurance requirements are met. Review/approve capital expenditure requests for robust financial business cases. Ensure payroll preparation is timely and accurate. Provide effective and accurate inventory analysis. Review and update company policies and procedures to meet changing business needs. Lead integration of finance processes and procedures for all new product line integrations in Miramar. Manage annual budgeting and reforecasting process and perform monthly budget‑to‑actuals reviews with department managers. Develop robust inventory controls across the business (accurate cycle counting, aged WIP and defective material reporting).
