Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of fellowship training in either Geriatric Neurology or Behavioral Neurology.

Opportunity Details

• Two-year income guarantee of $340,000.
• Recruitment incentive of $100,000.

Our neurology practice is a comprehensive multispecialty facility with a statewide referral network. With ten neurologists and four advanced practice providers, we address a wide range of neurological disorders across various specialties. We are recognized as an MS Center of Excellence by The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. Opportunities for outreach and tele-neurology are available, alongside three neuropsychologists who offer extensive testing services. Our practice collaborates closely with departments such as Neurosurgery, PMR, and Pain Medicine, and actively engages in clinical research while serving as faculty for residents in Family Medicine, Psychiatry, and Internal Medicine, as well as medical students from Des Moines University.

Our medical center in Des Moines consists of four hospitals in central and southern Iowa, totaling 875 beds, and oversees 16 rural hospitals. The main facility is a Level II Trauma center with 550 beds, serving a tertiary area of 1.4 million people and hosting one of Iowa's busiest emergency departments. We have received the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Stroke Association and are certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center.
