Our organization is in search of Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematologist Oncologists to join us in establishing a new team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key player in our well-regarded statewide cancer service line as we expand our presence in the Des Moines area. Opportunity Highlights

• 36 hours of patient contact weekly
• Patient volume: 12-15 per day
• Primarily outpatient care
• Admissions managed by Hospitalist service
• Inpatient rounding by Advanced Practice Providers (APP)
• Equitable second call responsibilities for physicians
• Teaching opportunities for residents and medical students
• Involvement in clinical trials
• Built-in mentorship program
• Case mix includes Solid Organ Tumors, Breast, Gynecology, and Hematology

Opportunity Details

• Two-year income guarantee of $800,000
• Salary floor of $600,000 with production incentives starting in year three
• Recruitment bonus of $150,000
• Malpractice insurance coverage with tail coverage included
• 403B retirement plan with matching contributions and a 457B savings option
• Annual CME allowance of $6,000
• Benefits commence on Day One

• Accreditations from CoC, NAPBC, NAPRC, and ACR

About Our Medical Center

Our facility is a Level II Trauma center that has been dedicated to serving the community since 1893. We operate four not-for-profit Catholic medical centers and two specialty hospitals, totaling 875 beds.
