Role Description The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a full-time, hybrid role based in South Plainfield, NJ, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The BDR is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing inbound and outbound leads, and building a strong pipeline of prospective customers. Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach via phone, email, and social channels, scheduling and coordinating discovery calls or demos, and supporting the sales team with follow-up and account research. The BDR will collaborate closely with marketing and sales to refine messaging, gather market feedback, and contribute to revenue growth. This role also involves accurate CRM management, reporting on activity and results, and maintaining professional, consultative communication with prospects. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation to identify, engage, and qualify prospective customers. Strong Communication skills to conduct effective outreach, deliver clear value propositions, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proven Sales and Business Development capabilities to support pipeline growth, move opportunities through the funnel, and collaborate with account executives. Ability to use CRM and sales engagement tools efficiently, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple outreach and follow-up activities. Experience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, or recruitment solutions is a plus.
