Job Description As a Security Officer Roving Patrol Associate in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general property information, and communicate with property management and/or first responders when needed. Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and following Allied Universal standards along with location‑specific expectations. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
