Position Details Job Location: Jacksonville, FL Category: Security Officer Level Shift: Saturday, Sunday Morning 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, potential theft, and/or other security‑related concerns in accordance with location procedures. Support a professional retail environment by assisting with de‑escalation, providing directions and information, and helping to address security‑related issues across the location. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. A guard card/license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
