Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.38 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 06:00 AM – 10:00 AM Sunday: 06:00 AM – 10:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access. Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to deter disruptions, assist with access-related procedures, and/or provide directions and support to visitors. Support a professional environment by communicating with hospital personnel, patients, and guests regarding site rules, visitor activity, and/or security-related incidents. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field. CPR certification is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
