Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver individualized and effective treatment.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that provide patients with valuable information and tools to manage their mental health.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary team setting to coordinate holistic patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support patients in acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective assistance.

• Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise, up-to-date documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

• Proficient in delivering both individual and group therapy to a broad spectrum of clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
