About the Role:
Equity Property Partners is seeking a motivated and personable Leasing Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our communities — connecting prospective residents with their next home.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑first environment and brings hands‑on leasing experience at Class C properties. If you’re ready to grow with a company that values professionalism, integrity, and personalized service, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective residents
- Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins in a timely and professional manner
- Process rental applications, run background and credit checks, and verify eligibility
- Prepare and execute lease agreements in compliance with local and state regulations
- Maintain accurate records of leads, traffic, and occupancy using property management software
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract qualified prospects
- Build and maintain positive relationships with current residents to support lease renewals
Requirements:
- 1+ years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong HCVP skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude
- Familiarity with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) a plus
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent required; real estate license a plus
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
