Human Resources Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead day-to-day human resources operations and support a positive, high-performing workplace culture! This role is responsible for overseeing employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policies.

The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and able to balance employee advocacy with business needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, improving processes, and helping employees succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee development, and offboarding
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
  • Oversee employee relations matters and provide guidance on performance issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Administer employee benefits, leave programs, payroll coordination, and HR systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain and update employee records, handbooks, job descriptions, and HR documentation
  • Support managers with performance reviews, coaching conversations, succession planning, and employee development
  • Partner with leadership to create and maintain a strong company culture and employee engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate training programs and professional development opportunities
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends related to turnover, retention, hiring, and employee satisfaction
  • Lead or assist with special HR projects and process improvements
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of human resources experience, including experience in an HR leadership or management role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations
  • Experience with recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
