This role will support our Corporate Controller, with ownership of key accounting processes including balance sheet management, account reconciliations, and journal entries. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working independently with a strong sense of accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries related to plant operations, including inventory, cost of goods sold, and accrualsPerform timely and accurate balance sheet account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of plant financialsAssist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and plant performance reportsMaintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAPMaintain financial performance metrics and KPIs, producing regular financial reports for management and stakeholdersWork closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuationAssist with internal and external audits, providing supporting documentation and analysisIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency within the plant accounting functionRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred3+ years of experience in general ledger or plant accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of balance sheet management, account reconciliations, and journal entry preparationFamiliarity with standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost of goods sold (COGS) is a plusProficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite)Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal oversightExcellent communication and collaboration skillsCPA or working toward CPA preferred (not required)Company Details:· Location: Sarasota, FL or Natick, MA· This position will report to the Corporate ControllerKreate is an equal opportunity employer.
