This outpatient cancer center in California provides specialized hematology and oncology services within a clinic setting for an adult patient population. The facility maintains a clinical support team that includes three hematology/oncology physicians and four advanced practice providers to support coordinated patient care delivery. Clinical operations are structured to facilitate quality oncologic and hematologic care on a locum tenens basis.

Laguna Beach is a coastal destination in California known for its protected shoreline, art scene, and outdoor recreational opportunities. Clinicians on assignment may explore scenic beaches, engage in coastal wilderness activities, and experience cultural offerings including art festivals and galleries. The area also provides options for dining, shopping, and wellness during time away from clinical duties.

Clinicians will provide on-site hematology and oncology coverage at an outpatient cancer center in California, managing 15-20 patients per day on a 4-day work week consisting of 36 patient care hours and 4 administrative hours per week. The clinical scope encompasses general hematologic and oncologic conditions, with a consult distribution of 50% hematology and 50% oncology, and follow-up visits weighted at 85% oncology and 15% hematology. Call coverage is required on a 1:4 rotation with 24-hour call structured as Tuesday 8:00 AM through Tuesday 8:00 AM; call volume is low and consists primarily of phone consults. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for both inpatient and outpatient encounters.
