This outpatient cancer center in California provides specialized hematology and oncology services in a clinic setting. The facility maintains a clinical support team that includes three hematology/oncology physicians and four advanced practice providers to support coordinated patient care delivery. Clinical operations are structured to facilitate quality oncologic and hematologic care for an adult patient population.

This facility is about two hours south of San Fran. California offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, spanning diverse landscapes that include coastal destinations, mountains, deserts, and redwood forests. Clinicians on assignment may explore notable sites such as Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, and the coastal areas of Monterey, alongside cultural and historical landmarks distributed across the state. Outdoor activities, scenic tours, and wildlife experiences are among the many options available throughout the region.

Clinicians will provide hematology and oncology coverage on-site at an outpatient cancer center in California, managing 15-20 patients per day on a 4-day work week consisting of 36 patient care hours and 4 administrative hours per week. The clinical scope encompasses general hematologic and oncologic conditions, with a consult distribution of 50% hematology and 50% oncology, and follow-up visits weighted at 85% oncology and 15% hematology. Call coverage is required on a 1:4 rotation with 24-hour call structured as Tuesday 8:00 AM through Tuesday 8:00 AM; call volume is low and consists primarily of phone consults, with hospitalists responsible for all patient admissions. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for both inpatient and outpatient encounters.
