Primary Care Registered Nurse

Role Overview Join as a Registered Nurse (RN) at the Primary Care Clinic at Saint Luke’s Plaza. Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. RN licensure in Kansas or Missouri (compact) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required; primary‑care experience preferred. Responsibilities Provide telephone triage, patient flow coordination, and scheduling of emergent patient appointments. Identify learning needs for patients and families, offer advice and recommendations. Insert intravenous access and administer medication as needed. Delegate tasks to clinical staff in accordance with competencies and scope of practice. Serve as subject‑matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation and documentation of patient care and testing. Enter admission orders as directed by provider; manage expired samples. Work independently and as part of a team; maintain professional demeanor and excellent customer service. Cover Medical Assistant, LPN, and other office duties as needed. Qualifications At least 1 year of nursing experience. Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Registered Nurse license in Kansas or Missouri (compact). Associate Degree in Nursing. Primary‑care experience is a plus. Work Hours and Location Full‑time daytime shift in the United States; the clinic is located in Saint Luke’s Plaza, Kansas City.
