Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Comfort working with high needs and diverse student caseloads
• Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration abilities
• Willingness to obtain safety care training (provided as part of onboarding)
• Passion for supporting student development and educational outcomes

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess students' fine motor, sensory, and functional needs within educational and classroom environments
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to implement effective interventions
• Document and maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations as an integral part of the team
• Adapt strategies and interventions to meet unique student goals
