Veterinary Technician - Emergency

Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician Pet Specialists of Austin Austin, TX Schedule: Three 12-hour overnight shifts per week, including one weekend night. Pay: $23-$26 per hour, based on experience, credentials, skills, qualifications, and location. Shift differential available for overnight and weekend shifts. Emergency Veterinary Technician Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care for emergency and critical-care patients in a fast-paced, 24-hour specialty hospital. Support triage, patient assessment, inpatient monitoring, treatments, and outpatient procedures under veterinarian direction. Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medication administration, laboratory testing, radiology support, and specimen collection. Assist with emergency procedures, anesthesia, surgery, and CPR while maintaining accurate medical records. Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners and collaborate closely with veterinarians and the emergency care team.
