Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify each client’s mental health needs, crafting tailored treatment plans to address their unique circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family sessions, employing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Work closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other allied health professionals to coordinate and optimize care for clients, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support for clients experiencing acute distress or mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and safety planning strategies.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives and educational programs, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma across varied demographics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work with a diverse array of individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Our client population includes children, adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions. Your role will be vital in providing culturally competent care that respects and values the unique backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients effectively and foster trust in therapeutic relationships.

• An understanding of cultural diversity and the ability to work sensitively with clients from varying backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of sessions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community mental health setting is highly desirable, providing familiarity with the unique needs and challenges faced by this population.

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling is a plus, as you will be primarily providing services via telehealth.
