Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in managing your work-life balance while serving clients statewide in California. Our community health clinic operates rigorously on a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for structured hours while still fostering an environment of growth and collaboration. You will be equipped with an intuitive, user-friendly software system designed specifically for therapists, simplifying clinical documentation and enhancing patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting live virtual therapy sessions with adult clients, focusing on a variety of emotional and psychological issues ranging from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and adjustment disorders.

• Employing comprehensive assessment tools and evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

• Monitoring and documenting patient progress through our streamlined software system to ensure timely interventions and adjustments in treatment as necessary.

• Regularly collaborating with a supportive leadership team to discuss cases, share insights, and receive guidance, ensuring a continuous standard of care.

• Providing education and resources to clients to empower them in managing their mental health journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adult clients who may experience a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, and stress management. You will be expected to approach each patient with empathy and understanding, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their individual needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a mental health-related field (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC credential required).

• An active license to practice independently within the state of California; additional state licenses are a plus.

• A minimum of two years of previous therapeutic experience, with at least one year engaged in independent practice.
