Regional Director of Field Operations

We are partnering with a leading telecommunications infrastructure organization to identify an experienced Regional Director of Field Operations to support the delivery of large scale utility and network construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing multiple crews, subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality across underground and aerial utility construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily construction activities performed by internal crews and subcontractors. Manage underground and aerial telecommunications infrastructure projects from construction through completion. Coordinate with utility providers, municipalities, inspectors, and permitting agencies to ensure project compliance and timely execution. Monitor project schedules, production goals, and workmanship standards. Conduct field visits to verify compliance with permits, safety requirements, and project specifications. Complete site safety inspections and documentation for active job sites. Participate in customer, operations, and project status meetings. Serve as a liaison between field operations, customers, and local agencies. Assist with issue resolution and support successful project delivery. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in telecommunications construction and/or utility construction, or infrastructure maintenance. Proven experience leading field crews and subcontractors. Strong understanding of underground and aerial construction practices. Ability to read construction drawings, utility maps, and project documentation. Knowledge of permitting, inspections, and municipal requirements. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and construction-related software. Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus. Ability to work overtime, weekends, emergency response, and on-call schedules when necessary. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and safely perform the physical demands of the role.
